Here's a simple question, maybe someone can tell me how to do it...
How do you program the driver side window for a "one touch roll up?"
The passenger side is just fine. With one touch, it'll roll up all the way.
How do i make the driver side do the same thing?

i believe it goes a little something like this: someone correct me if i'm wrong.
1:roll window all the way down
2:roll window up using the first little click on the button NOT the one used for rolling all the way up
3:once window is all the way up without letting go, pull the button up to the final click and hold for a few seconds.
this SHOULD do it (if i remember correctly) if its wrong please someone correct me. hope this helps!!
oh and you DONT always have to take this to the dealer to get fixed... /flame

99's do not have one touch up.... looks like your car is at least a 2000 by looking at your side view mirrors. 2000+ have the roll ups

I asked the same question when I took mine to the shop.
The technician told me that some cars during certain model years do not have the one touch option. The reason behind it is because when they first introduced this function to cars the windonws would not retract when something is trapped in between while rolling up. Some accidents happened (such as kids getting hurt) and they stopped that function for certain model years until they finally had the retract function installed.
The technician tryied to use the computer to reprogram it to my 99 CLK but he said mine probably falls into that category. I later on tried putting my hand (I know it's stupid...) in between while the window was rolling up. Not a good idea...

Hold the button for more than 3 secs, the car willl learn the button's function, just like how u clear the code by turn the stering wheel all the way to the right and then to the left twice

Window Reset
Window roll up reset.
Open the window all the way.
Close the window all the way AND hold the button down(all the way down, second click).
AFTER Ten Seconds release the button.
repeat for the other window.
This will reset the automatic windows.
At least it does for me.
If this doesn't work, hey it'll only took 30 seconds to try.
(works for the sunroof too, but do it in forward position, and do it in back position)

For some reason it doesn't seem to work. Is the car suppose to be on/off?

I tried holding it on the second click for a whole entire minute, and it still doesn't work.
