Engine Startup really sluggish
I noticed this a few months ago, but this morning, when I turned the ignition, the starter seemed to start up really slow... so slow that initially I wasn't sure if it was going to turn over. Sounds like the the starter is really struggling to start up and then it turns over.
It doesn't really take any longer to start up, just makes a sound when you first crank the ignition that sounds like the starter is struggling to turn.
Tonight, I'm going to clean off the battery terminals and maybe get some of that conductive gel on there.
I'm thinking 1) bad contact on the battery terminals, 2) weak battery, or 3) something to do with the CPS.
I've never had the CPS replaced, I haven't replaced the battery in probably 5 years.
Has anyone experienced similar symptoms? Any suggestions?
