Door handle squeak - fix
My door handle squeaked. I hate squeaks. I fixed it. Here's how:
Near location 1, you'll see a small notch in the underside of the handle cover. Insert a screw driver and basically pry up and towards you. It's stubborn, but the handle cover will simply snap forward and then you can pull it off towards you.
The main squeaking noise comes from location 2. You could probably take the whole door panel apart, find what's squeaking, and tighten it down. Or, you could simply spray some silicone lubricant into that hole in the door panel. Whatever is back there, a little lubricant quieted it down. I'll let you guess which approach I took.
I also lubricated the entire inside of the handle cover, including the edges and little protruding tubes. The reassemble. You'll notice that the car no longer squeaks when opening and closing the door, and it's quieter when hitting bumps in the road, now.
