Are the windows on a 1999 clk supposed to roll up automatically? Mine go down automatically but not up.

 

on the coupes, my friend had a 99 and got it new, and it only went down with one touch but not up, mine is a 2000 and it does go up and down with one touch, and some newbie here just posted that his 2001 does the window gap thing.

I have it on my 1999. it came with auto down and i had my tech program it for auto up and now i have both on auto.

 

VIP, what do you mean you had your tech do it? a Mercedes tech? or someone with the software?

 

99, and i tried program myself without success.

 

Yes my mechanic who is a mercedes tech and has the software and all the original merdcedes computers and scanners because he works for them. and it is absolutly possible on even the 98 it's just the programing. i've had mine for over two years and works without a problem.

 

do you think he can program the window gap thing when you close and open the door?
