Very wierd poblem...????
OK, this just happen to me 2hrs ago: My Command Unit acting crazy!!!
I put on a set of 19" Brabus Mono V today, was driving fine from my friend's shop to home. And then 2hrs later when i got in the car for a ride, my Command Unit would not change the radio station, button on steering wheel won't work with the Command ( volume, channel), can't switch from radio to Nav, Map, or anything else except the 2 switch of volume and options on the bottom. When I turn off the car, get the key out, the Unit turn on by itself, with out me touching it.... this is the 1st time i got this, and i'm freaking out.
Have anyone got this before??? let me know please

dont know i this is the problem for sure, but the SOS button is linked to the command navigation. I had an e350 as a loaner and a very curious passenger insisted on touching the sos button and I couldn't do anything on the radio, even after offing/onning the car.
might be worth looking into.

Sorry if I sound dumb. It's 'coz I am.
Try a reboot. Like just disconnect the battery for a few minutes and start again.
Wish I was more expert, but let us know what it was when you've fixed it?
Best of luck.
