HELP! Windows going down Automatically
I''ve tried searching but there are no previous posts.
My girlfriend''s clk320 1999 convt.''s windows all go down automatically when driving or going through bumps. THis happens quite often, i''d say about 2-3 times per driving session, which is usually about 2 or 3 miles. Can someone please help me?
P.S. There is also a beeping noise "ding ding ding ding" then windows come down, and the soft top button flashes.

Windows go down Automatically
I am having the exact same problem with my 2002 clk320 convt, the windows keep going down automatically when I'm driving and that ding ding ding sound comes on and the red soft top button flashes. Mercedes service dept could not find the problem after keeping my car for a week. Please let me know if you have been able to locate the problem

Gezzzz they made these lids complicated! 
I feel your pain on the top as many have had different problems and VERY difficult to hunt down. Im not sure which sensor is giving bad signal but it sounds as if the computer "thinks" you are trying to move the top at speed. A star diag. could tell you right away where the malfunction is but I would suspect the latch senor has gone wonkie on you.
