Don't know if it came on 99's. but mines has the navi and it has a aux port in the glovebox and I just switch over to aux on my radio but it still sounds like if you use a fm transmitter and it doesn't charge. hope that helps

It is not currently possible to display Artist and Song info on any W208 head units..... You are able to install a fiber optic auxiliary input via your CD changer port. You are also able to control your ipod in using CD button but the buttons aren't really designed for MP3 traversing.... Upgrade your stereo or get the Harmon Kardon Drive+Play I or II.

It probably sounds like that because you still need to adjust your bass and treble settings. For some unkown reason the AUX setting does not use your normal sound settings and even worst loses the settings every time you turn the car off.

Yeah I'm just use to my daily driver and my work van having radio's that has a ipod direct plug out the rear so it sounds way better so i just listen to cd's when I'm in the clk. Another problem is I'll forget to stop it then it stays running.
