bose sounds system
Just wondering what is so special about the bose system and if its worthwhile to pay another G for it. what is so special about it?
will getting an intake from K&N help boost a little bit of the hp. Dont clks already have pretty decent intakes already?
lastly approximately how much hp torgue gain if had a new exhaust system.
any info is appreciated thanx!

Just wondering what is so special about the bose system and if its worthwhile to pay another G for it. what is so special about it?
After I got the car I found the sound quality to be a little disappointing, so I investigated further. The brochure stated under the optional extras that the Bose Sound System had 7 speakers, yet I understand that 7 is standard anyway for the cabriolet and 8 is standard for the coupe - go figure!
The brochure also stated that the Bose system included a microphone to measure ambient sound levels and adjust the volume accordingly. Mine does not, so I asked the dealer. He said that no such system exists and the standard merc system has a speed-sensitive sound adjustment - mine does not have that either.
So, all in all, it seems that my extra $1,000 got me less than the standard system. After some 6 months of questioning the dealer I am no nearer getting a sensible answer.

its definitely not worth the money. for a grand, u can get stuff you really want and speakers that suite your musical tastes. and another grand for a cd changer? homie dont play that.
