engine temp.

my engine temp pasts the middle temp. is this normal? on somedays it goes even higher. should i go to the dealer and get it checked to see if theres anything wrong?

It's not a problem. I won't even push my car until it is at least at 80. Just keep it under the red.

3 bAn 2 PoW 0, as Ben said, you don't have a problem, it's normal at least on both my 230K and 430 CLK's.

Me neither, I let it warm up during initial high-idle, take it easy till it's at mid-way or slightly higher, then can push the car.

I do the same as Safet, this isn't really a topic that's talked about much but is very important....perhaps we could put together a best practices and make it sticky??? What do you think??

I think it'd be a good idea, but it's up to the mods.
