Best way to debadge

Best way to debadge

Hi,

With all this talk about debadging, I notice that the clks' actually looks cleaner, can someone tell me the best way to do this without damaging vehicle.

Dental Floss and a Hair Dryer to heat the glue up. You may need to remove some excess glue depending on how good you are. I'm sure there are a million ways to do it....

I made my dealer do it before driving off the lot But CLKY has it right. Just take your time.

It's just glue holdin' it on? How about the dealership thingie? Could you take it off the same way?

I'd imagine so. I'd be pissed if the dealer actually drilled to put their logo on the car. The MB star in the rear will leave holes, so don't remove that.

I always thought that they drilled holes for dealer plates and the car designation. Maybe I'm just thinking of older cars.

Exactly. Did it on my Benz, and my BMW...works like a charm.

Get rear ended, then tell the body shop not to put on the badge.

usually if you fix ur car at a shop they'll do it for u for free, or buy some mods from a shop, they'll debadge for u too.
