I just replaced mine a few months ago with one from autozone. It was about $90 and fits fine. Comes with the overflow tube and is an OEM fit. If you want to spend some extra money, I hear the Yellow Optima battery is a good choice. About $125, but I didn't go with that one since it looked like the dimensions were different, I didn't want to deal with fitment issues.

Amazing....I understood his post immediately.
I, also looked at an Optima, but the dimensions were not close enough to the original. I went with a Duralast. Perfect fit & it has the overflow tube.

What's that overflow tube for anyways? I see a clear thin tube running to my battery, i suppose it's this you dudes are talking about..
I'd need to exchange my battery as it's getting really dodgy lately..probably the factory battery (says Mercedes-Benz/Varta on it), and as the car is from 2000 it's no wonder!
Can i just pop any 100Ah battery with the same dimensions in there or do i have to take that overflow thingy into consideration?

Odyssey are the best I've found if they have one to fit: http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...p?N=400109+115
AGM can go 2 years w/o charging and their rated duty life is phenomenal.
