I just bought a 2002 CLK430 and it did not come with a Navigation CD for California. Does any one have a "backup" copy so I can test to see if mine works?

I tried burning back-ups but they would not work at all. I guess they have some sort of protection on it.

I looked it up and it seems you have to burn it diffenrently than regular CD. A website said that you can use the program called Alcohol 120% with SafeDisc 2/3 scheme. Any one in San Francisco or the Bay Area willing to lend me the disc. I will be will to put up some collaeral to safeguard your disk.

Used Alcohol 120 and burned it using SafeDisc 2/3/4 *EWF Writer mode at MAX speed on to a Memorex CDR.

Now that I finished testing it, I've decided that I'm not going to buy the CD because the interface on my portable is easier to use.
