iPod connection Help

Happy Holidays!
Sure could use some help. My kids want me to get an iPod connection for my 2003 CLK 430 Cabriolet. Would like a 'direct' connection instead of an FM modulator.

And i would need installation by a pro.

Can anyone out there recommend or experience?
Thank you!

If you have the NAV there is an AUX in your glove box. Otherwise it gets expensive. May want to just get a new deck.

Well I got this gizmo at Best Buy that is powered and is an FM modulator based device that has an input that would connect to a regular headphone jack (input from the ipod), the output is directly via cable to the antenna input for the head unit. The regular antenna input also plugs in in the back of the connector to the head unit. I have it hardwired and sitting inside the console between the front seats and the cable running up in the center console to the Ipod that I keep in the shelf there. It is an FM based device except due to the hardwire connection the reception is outstanding. I have had it for a few years now with no problems. Had it installed at BestBuy (it is relatively easy to do anyway)..did not cost me too much $150 perhaps (with install?)..my memory is hazy but it was not expensive..

No Nav.

Thanks to all for the information, i don't have Nav & I live in St. Louis. Any other ideas would be welcome.
