Head & Tail Lights & Grill
GF of mine jost got an '01 CLK 430. We are looking to upgrade the front headlight assemblies, the grill, and the rear taillights to something more 'modern' looking. What are some of the better parts out there and where to get them from? We have found some online (myhotmercedes.com), but on ebay those are twice as cheap, so we are not sure if the ebay ones are knockoffs and if there are any ones to stay away from. Any help is appreciated, looking forward to modding this little guy!

This body style will continue to look "new" for a long time..I get comments from most that think its an 06 or new model.
I had pretty much the same idea when updating my car. Although I never went through with changing the actual headlights, I added the chrome rings ( now a MB option on other models) which I thought did alot for the front end.
I also went with a Schatz grill vs. the big star grills from ebay. I wanted a bigger star but also felt the large ones did "overwhelm" the front end and this was perfect. Along with a flat badge looked great.
The rear lights I went with can be purchased from ebay. THey arent the LED versions but are clear and a bit brighter in the red area. I have other pics in another thread, but this did alot to the car when added with an exhaust or dual tip.
