1999 Mercedes Benz CLK430
Engine motor mounts?
I need to replace my engine motor mounts on my 99 clk430 and want to no if there is anyone around LA area that can do this job for me for cheap? The guy i talked to is getting both front engine motor mounts and installing for $350? Is that a good price?
And he is also installing my H&R lowering springs for $200?
Just want to no if there is anyone out here that can do it for cheaper and if not then what im paying for is that a good price?

$350.00 is not a bad price. I paid $700.00 last month from MB dealership in Pensacola, Florida. Atleast I know it was done correctly.

it was the install and motor mounts. I got that done already and he installed new motor mounts all for $300. Did a really good job!

It would cost around $160 for the parts. It takes about an hour if you were to replace them yourself. So all you need to decide is if its worth the $190 in labor not to get dirty. The $200 dollars to install your springs is cheap. You should have the shocks done at the same time.

I paid $300 for the engine mounts and labor. Engine mounts cost $140 -$180 for the pair. I installed mounts that are used on 209. Was told that they are better then what we have on 208.

buying the mounts
Where did you all buy the motor mounts if you didn't have the shop purchase them? I see a Sachs-Boge motor mount listed for only $64/each... very inclined to purchase this and bring it to my shop to have them install it... any suggestions or experience with these? I found these on AutoHausAZ btw.
