whats your average?

I have a few questions for all the forum readers out there.. how far do you normally get on a tank of gas.. highway city or both dont care just want to know..??? also. how many miles have you guys gotten out of your front and rear brakes? do you guys replace the rotor and pad ALWAYS? or do you just do the pad and switch rotor every other time?.. any suggestions on pads? ceramic? rotors.. drilled? slotted? oem?? thanks for any replies you guys have.

I usually get 280 miles on a Full gas tank but i have a CLK430 and about pads and rotors i have replaced only my pads twice (front & rear) I change the pads right when they start to go bad bcuz if u dont they will start messing up the rotors so rotors should be done every other time

Brakes are too dependant on drive cycles to give a solid mileage number. I mic'd the rotors and can see that mine are good for two sets of pads. 430 rotors are pretty inexpensive and the factory stopping distances are phenominal, so I use OEM pads and rotors

.

I average ~29MPG per tank on trips from SoCal to the bay area. No traffic, of course.

The figures are about what I get with mine. I don't push it hard too often, as I can imagine the consumption would go through the roof.

I got 24 mpg on a trip from ATL to Macon and back. That included at least an hour sitting in traffic and around town.

Best I've gotten on the highway is 27.X and usually achieve 20mpg around town/mixed.

I've still got my original pads and rotors....41,500 miles to date.

Now during winter I am averaging around 20-21mpg a month. That’s probably around 70/30 highway/city driving and going around 75-85 mph.
Summer time I get around 22mpg. What’s interesting that as soon as I drop my speed on the highway to around 65mph my gas mileage is around 22-24 mpg each trip vs. 19-20mpg.

with my 320 i get 400 miles per tank when i do both city/hwy which avg. to about 25mpg. all highway i get 28mpg.
as for brakes, the pads wore down to the sensors at about 80k so i changed the pads and upgraded to drilled and slotted rottors. next time im only changing my pads, not the rotors
