I installed LEDs and need to find the flasher relay to slow down the blinkers.
I think the small black relay is for the horn, and the bigger black relay is for the fuel pump...

also looked here but the only relay i found in this location was a starter/ignition relay(car did not crank when removed).

also, where is the fuse for abs/asr?

Hello,
I am also looking to the LED flasher relay on my car and cannot find it, however my car is a 2010 GLK350 4matic. The Flasher started working and not working and flickering for some time and now it doesn't work. I took the cover off and tested it with 12 volts. it works. so the LED are good. I can't locate the Relay which sounds to be the problem. If anyone knows where I can find it or which one it is. That would be great.

I appreciate your help. Can you please tell me if this is the fuse box under the hood or in the trunk? The Right flasher on my 2010 GLK stopped working and the LED is good. It must be the Relay. I can not locate the relay. I have removed each fuse and tested. the hazard flasher continue to work. I was unable to figure out which relay controls the flashers.

For a W208, there are 3 fuse boxes.
The F1 main fuse/relay box is located in the engine compartment (see attached).
There are also 2 auxiliary fuse boxes, located in the in side of the dashboard and in the trunk.

Our 1156 bayonet LEDs have integrated flasher chip on the unit so no messing with the relays http://www.aznoptics.com/index.php?m...products_id=62
The LED bulbs with built-in load resistors is not elegance solution.
I must get into device which monitoring current flows in bulbs.
Something measure current and has value, which start turn-signal fast blinking .
Modification blinker relay is solution, elegant solution and economic.

Resistor, blinker...and LED diodes, all in one.
Hard to believie ;-)
How synchronize blinking between diodes if each of them has own blinker?

Osram LEDriving PREMIUM PY21/5W it has only two watts. So it is better ;-)
I must just get into the flasher relay!!! Where is it, people ??!!!

The location of the flasher relay has already been posted, earlier in this thread.
However, that's not going to help you fix your problem, because your bulbs are not compatible with the operation of MB CAN-Bus turn signal system, which is described in detail, above.
Unfortunately, many others have tried replacing the factory relay with what's known as a 'turn signal flasher', without success.
That's because the N10/1, signal activation module (SAM), receives/sends CAN-Bus data (e.g. via digital signaling and/or voltage encoding) from sensors, switches and controllers, which then activates components and monitor systems, as described in the above interior CAN-Bus diagram.
In your circumstance, your best bet would be the Frankenstein solution, which would be to select and install a high wattage, low ohm resistor, wired in parallel to each LED bulb. Note: On my MY 2001, the turning bulbs where moved from the side front fenders, to the side mirrors which have factory LED bulbs.
The simplest and most elegant solution, when installing LED bulbs on MB, would have been to purchase bulbs that have the integrated resistor and flasher.
Thank You Serndipity for block diagram!
If i good understand:
- bulbs are controled not by relay but transistors ?
- bulbs failure is recognized by N10/1 module, lower current consumpsion is recognized.
- resistor is responsible for current measurement ?
Please correct me if i wrote something wrong.
