What tire pressure should I have?
HI guys
I have been closely checking my tire wear ever since I installed my new wheels and tires and they seem to wearing fairly evenly.
I perticualy was concerned about my rears as my cambers look quite aggresive but its a bit of an illusion due to how wide my rears stick out and I have spacers on too. But the wear is pretty good and not wearing the inside as I had been worried about.
The wear seems to be very slighty in the middle of each of my rears indicating I think that the tires could be over-inflated a little?
18" x 8.5J 255 x 35 Front
18" x 9.5J 225 x 40 Rear
I checked the pressure and it was at 25psi does anyone have the same tire size as above and use a lower psi? I decreased the pressure down to 23psi in the rears do you think this is ok?
Thanks in advance

25 psi seems low to me. lower gives you better handling (more grip), but higher will give you better MPG (rougher ride). somewhere in the middle gives you the best tire life typically. our cars are recommended at about 32 psi for stock 17's. typically, from what i've seen you should run higher pressures with bigger wheels. Low pressure is very risky for bending wheels.

For less than $50, you can know the correct tire pressure on any car. If that sounds like a lot of money just to know the right pressure, you're right. But so are tires.
Here's a link with the details.
