CLKFAN one more question

The pic on the auction i sent you for the springs...do you see how the coils get smaller in diameter at each end..now do i cut a half coil off the top of the spring and do i just cut a half coil even tho they get smaller in diameter ? here is the link to the photo again. Also.. which spring pads do i need? #2 front and #3 rear? can i get them from the stealership?Do i ask for spring pads for a e320? What do i say when i walk in to the stealership? I know its alot bro but u know ur ****...thanks bro your a life saver:

For a CLK, Mercedes-Benz makes pads in these sizes: 5, 9, 13, 17, and 21 mm. These are the part numbers and their thicknesses.

Front:
210-321-01-84 5mm
210-321-02-84 9mm
210-321-03-84 13mm
210-321-04-84 17mm
210-321-05-84 21mm

Rear:
210-325-01-84 5mm
210-325-02-84 9mm
210-325-03-84 13mm
210-325-04-84 17mm
210-325-05-84 21mm

Those springs on the pictures are not like the ones we have. Ours are even top and bottom so it doesn't matter which side you cut as long as every cut is perfect to the next one or you will have an uneven drop. And if you end up uneven like most of us are sitting right now because that's how these cars are what you will need to do is just get bigger or smaller pads to adjust your height for evenness around the car. That's what spring pads are for. I run a #2 on driver side and #1 on pass side in front....my car has always been like this even before I cut my springs and i bet your car will have a small defect somewhere as well, I'm sure it does right now but you can't tell because you don't have a point of reference because you have a big fender to tire gap that doesn't allow you to see this.
