Question about brakes!
what choices do we have for brake upgrades? Under a grand. I found some cl55 calipers for a good price would those fit my clk430? they are 4 pot and what rotors would i run with those? and have everything bolt up? any info would be helpful

2002 CLK430
Bone stock, the CLK430 stops from 60 MPH in 121 feet. That's 2 feet further than a 2004 911 GT3. The CLK55 brakes can shave a little more off. Of course, so can tires that are stickier than the OEM Contis were.

so calipers and rotors from a c32 will bolt right up to a clk430?

Did you end up buying the cl55 brakes? Otherwise I would be interested.

no i didnt, they were on ebay when i made the thread about 2 months ago
