Rear spring pad

Well, I have been doing a lot of searching, everything tells me how or what to do or use to lower my car. I am wanting to raise the rear about an inch. What spring pad # could I use to do this. The suspension is stock, Yea I could buy new springs but then I will be in the boat of wanting to lower it. As it sits, it is not to bad, but driving down the road or put some kids in the back, the rear sags. I want it to have a little rake to it at a stance and then sit level going down the road or with passengers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks....

first, we'd need to know what spring pad you have right now. you're going to have to get underneath the car or take off the wheel to see what spring pad you have. the spring pad will have little rubber nipples, report back to us how many of these it has.

i would just go with the thickest pad, #5. you won't get more than an inch going from #1 to #5 pad.

wow this is a first someone actually wanting to raise their ride?! For me I changed my rear pads about 4 times until I Was happy with the drop that I wanted and went from no#2 pad to zero pads as even with the number one pad and lowering springs the car was far too high !! So I agree with the advice of just going with the thickest pad to raise it up would do.
Also remember that the benefit of having lowering springs is that you can get progressive coils which have more resitance as they are compressed, so even with my car full of passengers the back stays good !
