clkfan!! or anyone help

To give you a better idea... i had ONE blown shock (the front driver's side). everytime i hit a dip or bump, the car would be stable except for that corner, it was dangerous and weird. You'd swear my car looked like a lowered benz with hydraulics on one corner.
but you can do what you are planning but after a month or so you will really start to hate your car.....but it also depends on how low it ends up at and what spring pads you end up using so good luck
I can't help you with that question on bounce travel because every car is different and I can't say I've ever tried to measure the bounce travel but you should be fine if you have a regular wheel and tire combo

I was told that it has to do with the technique on how the springs are cut.
With the H&R springs, the first 1/3rd of the top coil starts off flat and does not fit into the grove of the spring pad therefore the spring pad will not lock onto the spring. I had that flat portion cut off on all 4 of my springs a long time ago. No bounce, no problems.
Not sure if it makes any difference that I have the H&R Sports Cup Kit i.e. tinsel strength of the springs with the kit package over yours.
Just remember that if you cut your springs that over time and with the weight of the engine
your car will drop further. You may need to compensate by going up a spring pad.
