Bilstein shocks for CLK320 SP of HD?

I saw two models of Bilstein shocks for CLK320 - one named SP, one named HD.

Which one should I use? I guess SP (sports), right?

SP is sport (stiffer than the CLK55)
HD is the same as the CLK55.

Both will require different springs.

I'm going to use Eibach spring P/N 2561.14, lowering 1.2" for both R and F. Then which should I use?

Thanks !!!!!!!

Probably HD. Sport may be too firm for the eibachs. Maybe somone with eibach's can help you.

Bilstien or Koni adjustables for a CLK 320 with H&R Springs? What is the difference between the two? Is Bilstien or Koni more bouncier...? comfortable...? stiffer...?

CLK 320
It is my understanding that the sp (sport) is an inch shorter than the HD for use on lowered cars. Since you are lowering the car you should use the sp. Also, it was my understanding that if you just wanted a stiffer shock that you could use the HD with the factory spings. Ithought the HD was just a stiffer shock that was the same length as the factory shock. I must be misslead.

isnt that the height is controlled by the spring rather than the shock?

The height is mostly controlled by the spring. What he is saying is that the SP shocks (and Koni's) are made about 1" shorter, because they are designed to work with lowering springs.
