Nice find Will.
It's a pity there isn't a photo of our cars. 61 Euros for the front and 93 Euros for the rear is Great!
I just read on Uk Yahoo search that the rear isn't suitable for convertables.

If you search and look at terry's car he has front and rear I contacted a while ago where he got his and they said they didn't carry them any more and told me to go directly to the company but to pay as much for the shipping as what the part cost was a reason I didn't go thru with it

Someone may want to pay regardless.
Yes I saw the fine print that said not for convertibles.

Deleted my pm's where I got the info from terry the place he got it from was auto-mark (auto-mark@charter.net) this is the email adderess that I was emailing when they said
Sorry, I don’t have plans to carry/sell these in the near future. You may be able to buy them directly from Wiechers-Sport, or thru one of their dealers in Europe. But the shipping costs have gone up and it may cost as much to ship as the part.
Mark
He might be able to get you more info on where you need to go to get it

Hey so bringing back a thread.
I just received my rear Strut Bar and you know what I will let the pictures do the talking!
Although I did find it to be very well made and even have my name down to get the second front strut he builds. Also, install was about 15 min. 2 min photos, 7 min install, 1 min clean up, 5 min beer!

my car has sway bars, kleemann springs, and am running 245 invos at all four corners, including the strut bar! that said i did get a chance to run through the canyons today. my car is a cabrio and so i get a lot of body twist, it feels a lot more stable with a lot less body twist in the corners! very skeptical at first but am very happy now.

99CLK320,
rear strut bar
I just installed a rear strut bar by VIPclk320 but I have his new version. the bar adjusts in the center by a piece that is reverse threaded on side and regular threaded on the other. The center piece threads into tubing that mount to the top of the shocks. the bar is well made and easy to install. I kinda f'd up cutting the hole on the left side of the trunk lining but I'm just being ****. There's not a lot of places to put a car through it's paces in Lincoln, NE but, I have stock suspension and I can definitely feel less body roll in cornering. I would post pics but they would be exactly like sick430's.

Could someone measure center to center for me? I'm looking for a strut bar for my Crossfire and this just might work. On my car it's 40-1/2 inches. Here's a picture of the rear with Koni shocks.

Your out of luck buddy. He has sold out (I believe I got the last set of each) and isnt manufacturing anymore. Additionally, he is also leaving the forums as he posted in another thread. Doubt you will be able to get in touch with him.

Yes, it was good while it lasted ... but VIP seems to have moved on. I got the rear bar which is being mounted now. I ordered and paid for the front bar and it never seems to have showed up at my shipping address. This is not necessarily VIP's fault - it took me months to realize the problem. But it does makes me scratch my head... and think that the Germans may have the better front solution.

CLK55 / E350 Coupe
Ash was selling them pretty much at cost to produce. He had them produced purely as a favor for us on the forums.
Only way he could of profited is if he made them in high quanity, but he wasn't looking for money. Just helping out a need.
Those who were able to transform thier car with these came up!
Ash even installed mine, and replaced a part at his cost cause i f'ed up!

I was going to make a DIY tutorial on how to make one and where to get the parts for less than what it was being sold for. Let me quote myself...
I'm pretty sure I can rig something up to make one.... I'll keep you guys posted

He's not selling them anymore and people still want them.

With that snobbish attitude forget it then . There's no point since you're getting your panties in a bunch about it.
