I have a 2002 CLK430 Cabrio. I have the command system and I am told the car is "pre-wired" for a phone. When I look under the armrest there is a connection where I can connect a V60 cradle or V60 cradle eliminator and connect it to the bluetooth "puck". My question is will this activate the phone. I have had different answers and would like to know if it works for sure before I invest. Some say it works and some say it will not and that I need a PSE of some sort which goes in the trunk. If I do need this PSE where in the trunk is it, what does it look like, how does it install and where can I get one. I appreciate any help I can get.

how would you know if ur wired for the phone???? i have the phone button on the steering and radio.

You will need the auto sense PSE with the blue label. It's a flip of the coin if you already have one installed. It is located behind the trunk trim on the drivers side, below the radio antenna. It is about 5"x10"x1". You'll need to remove the entire assembly first to remove the PSE from the bracket. Once removed look to see if the attached label is blue. If it is then you are ready to go with the cradle or adapter.. which ever you choose. If the car never had the phone installed then you will still need to have it version coded at the dealer.
