225/55/16 winter tire rub?

i have OEM 16x7 rims for winter driving.. a friend of mine has some 225/55/16 blizzacks for sale...will they be ok or will they rub or something?

anyone have experience with these tires?? do they make alot of roadnoise?

bumb, Has no one honestly driven in the winter with there clk's I cant find any threads on winter driving.

I spoke to Tire Rack tech while ago regarding my 205 55 16 and replacing them with 225 and i was told if i go with 225 that i have to go with 50 instead of 55. But my issue was not rubbing but computer instead. so maybe give Tire rack a call and they will tell you if is ok to do that. I guess they would have mention it if there was rubbing issue. I have CLK320 if that makes any difference , new here not much knowledge
