i have OEM 16x7 rims for winter driving.. a friend of mine has some 225/55/16 blizzacks for sale...will they be ok or will they rub or something?

anyone have experience with these tires?? do they make alot of roadnoise?

I spoke to Tire Rack tech while ago regarding my 205 55 16 and replacing them with 225 and i was told if i go with 225 that i have to go with 50 instead of 55. But my issue was not rubbing but computer instead. so maybe give Tire rack a call and they will tell you if is ok to do that. I guess they would have mention it if there was rubbing issue. I have CLK320 if that makes any difference , new here not much knowledge

bro, i live in VA and it snows and my car is slammed and i have my 16 as well and i have 205/55/16 and rides fine but there is some road noises and all depends on the brand and so forth.
the winter tires tend to give u road noises.

i do since i only got one car but i always clean the under carriage so no salt and so forth
