bas,esp,no brake lights!!!!!!
so two days ago the abs,esp light popped on after painting my calipers.i swithed the brake light switch.the light pops on after the brakes are pressed alittle.i hear that the acceleration sensor can cause this.dont know what else it can be.ive searched the forums for 2 days now and people seem to give only half of the answers.theyre not mentioning if theyre brake lights work fine, stay on,or stay off.
please help,as its my daily driver and dont want to get a ticket.thanks

so i finally figured out what the hell was wrong wit my car.first thing i did.
1.check the fuses
2.change the brake light switch
3.check and clean both front sensors
4.switched sensors around
5.none of the above
so as i decided to give up and just wait to get new sensors a few min ago.decided to check my fuses one more time.checked the ones under the hood and again theyre all fine.next started to check the ones on the driver side by the vent.looked at the #2 fuse and noticed that the even numbers are up top and the odds are on the bottom.which meant that the #2 fuse is underneath #1 and voila popped fuse.replaced it, pressed on the brakes and the brake lights worked!!!!now the only problem was the abs, bas, and esp light were still on.so thanks to the forum for all the info i have stored in this little brain of mine.i remembered about turning the steering wheel left to right and the lights were gone.i wanna thank all the guys from the forum that have had kinda the same problem and posted how they fixed it.
:moral of the story, double check any thing you have checked already.you never know what you missed the first time.

thanks bro,it feels good to figure **** out on my own.thats why i do everything on my own.out here theyll try to rip u off depending on the car u have.i remember one time some guy charged me $80 to put the car on a diagnostic machine, and charged me $40 to replace my crank sensor.i didnt think that made any sense.
