NEED NEW SILVER SMART KEY
So I got my new Silver Smart Key when everyone was going to partsdirect.com a year or so back. If memory serves me correctly we got them for roughly $100 bucks shipped. Mine crapped out after going through the washing machine and I need a new one. Made a trip to the stealership tey quoted me $255 bones!!
Does anyone have info on where to get them at a better price?
Thanks,
Does anyone have info on where to get them at a better price?

Globe Motor on Bloomfield Avenue in Fairfield.
By the way, dealer by me asked almost $300 (with tax) for the smart key and the blade. When I called NJ dealers, one of them asked why I don’t just by it from local dealer. When I told him that it’ll cost me almost $300 he actually said “what are they crazy?”
The difference in price may not be the same, since I bought my key couple of year ago.

I just recently called them for the part that goes between the fog lights (diffuser or whatever the name is) and they quoted me $130. Dealer by me asks almost $180. That’s 38% difference in price. I guess I am picking it up on my next trip to NJ.
The price difference just makes no sense to me – the cost of labor, taxes and properties is much higher in NJ then in my woods here, and their prices are cheaper by 30%.
