Get the Idler Arm Repair Kit, especially if you have replaced both the Steering Damper and Linkage Assy.
Months ago I replaced the Steering Damper and Linkage Assy but when I got the Idler Arm Repair Kit installed a week ago the steering is so tight at high speeds.
Before, the issue I was having was the faster I go the more play there was in steering and the less road feedback I could feel. This was always around 95-100mph and it felt like I had no control or was loosing control.

How much did the repair cost?
I have the kit(bushing and bolt) but have enough room to work. I had everything but the idler bushing replaced.

But out of any thing else I would recommend everyone get theirs replaced ASAP.Steering is so tight now, it's like someone tied my new shoe laces tight.

I wonder how tricky this is for DIY? I did lower ball joints, tie rod assembly and lower control arm bushings so far. My front end is very tight but it still wanders a little bit.

I was driving and when I got up to around 50mph my car started shaking really bad. I had new tires and a new alignment. It was shaking so bad I though my tires was about to shoot out from off the fender. Luckily my dealership was only 5 mins in the other direction. They said that is a common part to go bad and he also recommended to replace the steering damper. I just wished he also recommended at that time to do the Idler Arm Repair Kit. Drag link..center link, inner tie rods, and outer tie rods.
How long did it take for them to replace the idler bushing. I need to get this done as I've replaced everything else replaceable in front.
