Damn Thieves

What's up guys/gals, it appears someone with lower morals than myself has decided to help themselves to my passenger sideskirt rear jack-cover (you know, one of the two little square inserts on your sideskirt)..

Can anyone recommend a spot (for less than the excessive price my local dealer wants $80+) to pick one of these up? I tried car-part. .. but they don't even list sideskirts as a part.. tried the bay'.. no luck there only aftermarket sideskirts....

..Silver preferred

I don't mind spending money..but it really gets me when I have to get raped @ the dealer, because someone else is a thrifty low-life...

Any assistance is appreciated, thanks.

what year and model car?

an E55 as listed in your signature, or a CLK since you posted in the CLK forum?

edit: the part number tells me it's not your E55, but what model W208? thanks

don't thank me yet, i found nothing

I found the entire skirt, but nothing for the little covers.

that part number also doesn't google or yahoo

total bust!

a salvage yard could be a great place to pick on up if they have a model with a trashed skirt (otherwise they would probably make you buy the whole damn thing)

if you are handy with fiberglass you could make one

I just got off the phone w/ Potomac... nada....

usually car-part . is a good source, but to my amazement "side skirt" is not a listed choice, and when I use "rocker panels" it finds nothing.... ARGH....

maybe a fine piece of duct tape will do! j/k, j/k.......

I was going to suggest duct tape, too. It's silver...
