Front Rotors & Pads

Remove the caps (31b) and then unscrew the bolts (31c). That’s what hold the caliper (31a) in place. Remove the caliper, the pads, and the carrier. After removing the screws that hold the rotor, you'll need a big hammer to break the rotor loose. If you've never done this before, I suggest the assistance of someone who has. If you have done this before, several good smacks on the hub will break it loose. During reassembly, Blue Locktite on caliper screws and the rotor screws will ensure they come off easily the next time.
