For the AC, check/change the filter. For the phone, a bluetooth enabled head unit. You'll kill two birds with one stone. The phone and you can replace the CD changer with something that reads an SSD.

I am kinda partial to a stock look. although I have the pioneer f-700bt in my 911. I really don't want to lose the steering controls and cluster stuff

I installed that Alpine in mine. PAC-Audio sells converter boxes that plug in between the head unit and the OEM wiring harness (hidden, of course). Thier boxes allowed me to keep the steering wheel controls.
