I reserve this questions for the experts. Is it worth purchasing an aftermarket exhaust for a CLK 320? Which one to get and why?

Yes, but only if you are looking to change the look or the sound. I would not change your muffler in hopes of gaining hp, because more likely than not it will be either very little, or none at all.

I would recommend either Supersprint or Eisenmann for your 320.

I preffer MAE or Eisenmenn mufflers..thats it.. they are the best cause it provide deep throttle sound..hehhe

Supersprint and Eisenmann make the majority of tuner exhaust systems. My guess would be that the MAE is Eisenmann.

I have a renntech and i love it. Not loud at all, but gives it a really deep rumble. As far hp gains, like all exhaust you dont feel a difference. It also looks really good too.

You don't need an exhaust Straight pipe all the way, but if I was ganna get one I would definately go with Eisenman.

I don't believe any exhaust system will give you performance gains... not one's you will feel anyway...

You should just get it based on looks and sound...

I had it custom made. I can't tell you the difference unless I actually dyno the car, but it does feel a little different.
