2000 CLK 320
just hit 150k miles, maintenance ?

does the clk have a timing belt that needs to be changed? i just hit 150k miles and want to do some maintenance on it..thanks

i'd say worry more about your transmission at this point!

you might want to address your waterpump if its still the original one, and do a coolant change too!

Rear end fluids is a 1x /year event aswell.

Ya tranny fluid was changed at 100k so I think dat is still good.coolant was changed last summer as well. I'm just concerned about timing belt..

Our cars dont use timing belts, they use timing chains. I am at 137K so I am with you on all the preventive maintenance!

This may be a dumb question, but is the timing chain in visual sight? I always thought the one belt behind the fan was the timing/serpentine belt.

no it is not, dont mess with the chain....
