question about side indicators

Hi
does anyone know whether it be possible to add the '00+ side indicators onto a pre '00 model?

the side view mirrors with indicators just incase no one knows what im talking about

yes it is possible. Just go to your dealers and I'm sure they can do it for you.

It might cost you, but its definitely possible.

But what about the existing turn indicator? Do you just leave that on the body panel? If so, then will the mirror and the panel indicator blink? If you remove it, won't that leave a hole?

Most likely, your dealer won't do it for you.

You will need to swap mirrors, and then wire the blinker to make it work.

I know a shop in brooklyn that does it. They can do it two ways. Either custom cut a piece to fit or they can simply just replace it with the 2k+ mirrors. The latter is obviously more expensive . The custom job looks 99% the same and cost less than half the amount.
