Hey guys I want to pickup a set of used wheels for a friend with a W208 but these are the specs, I'm not worried about the rear but I am worried about up front:

19x9.5 40et 265/30/19

What do you guys think?

2000 CLK 3.2
you're going to rub if your car is lowered

especially if the tires run wide or are bulky

What kind of tires are they? And is your car lowered?

I tried it on but I don't think it's going to work out being I plan to lower the car. The tires only have 40% tread life left so I plan to wear them down and get 235/35 tires later. Thanks guys

They are Vredestein tires

What's up fellas? I'm from the C63 forum. Just came over for some advice...I had a 2005C230 Komp that i sold but never got rid of the aftermkt rims that i bought for it. (235/35/19 8.5fr & 265/30/19r). I have a friend of mine w/a 2002 CLK320 that wanted to buy them so we tried them on today. The fronts seemed to be fine but the rears seemed to rub a little on the inside. Are the rears too wide a set up for the CLK? Do the fenders need rolling?

Dremorg: check your offset, no need to roll the INSIDE.
you might need a spacer to push them away from he INSIDE....but if you push too much, you'll definately need to Roll the OUTSIDE fenders...

Tri-StateMB, my Toyo T1R size:245/35 19 will rub on my lowered CLK with 35mm wheels. They rub on the shock bolt on the INSIDE. i swaped to 235/35 and no problems! (very close though..)

Thanx for the advice but what should the offset be no more than to fit the CLK properly w/out having to fender roll? And it was the inside rears that seemed to be rubbing...They are 265/30/19
