clk won't turn over

Hey everyone, new to this site. Very cool. But need some help. I have a 2000 clk 320. Just replaced the crank sensor and battery two months ago, now the car won't start again. Yesterday it was totally dead, no lights, nothing. I jumped it and it worked. Then last night when I tried to start it, it was completely dead again. No lights etc. I tried to jump it and it now has juice but won't start. It will not turn over at all. My wife mentioned that she tried to start it yesterday and the dash lit up and then it totally went black. Could it be the EIS or starter solenoid? I am not sure. Could use some advice.
Thanks,
Jeff

had the same exact problem a couple of times
First u should make sure whoever put the battery in tighten the cables
also make sure the cables arent bad
and make sure there is no built up corrosion.
If there is corrosion use baking soda and some water to get it out
My car wouldnt turn over n would just go black
Mercedes would come out n jump it then I would turn it off and the problem would happen again

Check the alternator (with the voltmeter) to see whether it charge or not. The new battery, but no juice from the alternator, when it used up, the car die. Good luck.

Thanks SoCal208 for the reply. I will check but I had a new alternator put in about 6 months ago(because the car was dying, which turned out to be the Crank sensor). Do you have any more suggestions for me, I am open.

Ouch I hate hearing this Snojeff........Please know that a New Batt doesn't mean a Good Batt....Yes I've had this experience before....your new Batt should be completely charged, then load tested, if it proves itself to be good.....you have something draining your Batt.
Good luck....

if battery is going dead, you have a amp draw casuing battery to go dead///if after you jumped it and now it will only crank but not start check fuse for ignition coils//i have seen it blow from jumping car////
