Trunk wont open! Need your HELP!
Ladies and Gentlemen, (PLEASE HELP)
I have a 1999 CLK 430 and recently the trunk will not open. Not with the key not with the remote and not even with the trunk switch inside.
I dont know what to do and i need to open it.
If anyone has ever had this problem or knows what to do your HELP with this will be greatly appreciated!!!

1999 E300 TDI, 2000 CLK430, 2000 E320, 2003 S55, 2005 SL500, 2011 ML350
Hopefully you left the rear seats unlocked, in which case you can simply fold them down and crawl in to open the trunk. If not, you have to remove the first aid kit and underneath the panel, there is a cable for either side of the seats. U'll ned to use some pliers to pull it away from you so as to manually release the seat. It's really hard and feels like you might break something, but it's normal. This will release the seat and us can get in to trunk and open it from the inside. Hope this helps.

same thing happened to me, it ended up being the motor in the electric trunk release. to get in i broke the plastic behind the arm rest because when the arm rest is up, it hides the hole. Then i had one of my very small friends crawl through to release the seats
