Arrow Lowered + 19" wheels

Lowered my car other day and got new 19" wheels.

H&R Springs
#1 pads all round
235 front
265 rear

What do you guys think?

I do have one issue at the moment. When i reach about 100km/h car starts to shake noticeably. I hope balancing will fix the issue (been told that balancing has been done when i purchased the wheels)

Enjoy

pads are the pads that sit on top of the spring so its not metal to metal...
it will rattle if its cold outside lil bit but if its hot, summer time, it wont.

This info is from marcus f on an old thread again the # one pad is the thinnest and this has the part # for when you go to the dealer

There is no universal 'stock pad'. Mercedes-Benz makes pads in these sizes: 5, 9, 13, 17, and 21 mm and they designate them in their part #'s by numbering them 1 (thinnest), 2, 3, 4, and 5 (thickest). The pads installed on a particular car are based on the equipment that came with that car. For example, a fully equipped 2002 CLK430 convertible probably has a different spring pad than a base 1998 CLK320 coupe. You can reach in and feel the number of bumps on the pad to determine which one your car currently has. The number of bumps will match the pad number.

Front:
210-321-01-84 5mm
210-321-02-84 9mm
210-321-03-84 13mm
210-321-04-84 17mm
210-321-05-84 21mm

Rear:
210-325-01-84 5mm
210-325-02-84 9mm
210-325-03-84 13mm
210-325-04-84 17mm
210-325-05-84 21mm

I hope that helps.

I really like it this way. And would not like to go any lower.
No rubbing, and EVEN all around most important to me. There is about 10mm gap there.
If it goes lower it is harder to drive and increases rear camber issue i guess...

Not sure if it is off e320, i just called MB dealer and ordered dot 1 pads for CLK230. I had part numbers, i'll try to find it...

Next i will just upgrade to projectors and that would be it. There is nothing else that i could do to make it look better only worse in my opinion.

There is even 10mm gap on all 4. On the photo rear looks really high due to surface not been flat...

U know what, i just realized u have a clk230 and not clk320..... i dunno anything about clk230bro... but i know for fact e320 pads are the thinnest and will drop your car..
Def your car will settle after 6 weeks....your springs are still fresh and u havent broke into em yet...

i almost did the projectors one the clear black one but instead saving for a nice exhaust and redo my chip until then im retired

u sound like my dad about your opinion...

Looks good man! I have the same setup as well, never did me wrong. I did have some shaking in my steering wheel too. I balanced the wheels and realized that I had a broken shock. Good to go now.
