Wheel Studs...

Has anyone installed or ever thought about installing these on their car? What are the advantages and disadvantages of wheel studs and lug bolts?

Wheel studs make it easier to mount and unmount wheels for the average joe. I've heard that lug bolts are supposedly stronger though. But some people on MyMB have already coverted to wheel studs and some people hate the look, or love it.

im guilty of running wheels studs...

my OZ wheels run thinner than OEM wheels, when i used the oE lug bolts, they were too long and the only immediate remedy was to use wheel studs from my local tire-shop.

the only problem is that the last time I swaped wheels, the entire came out with the nut....I recomend Loctite Red for studs!
