Has anyone purchased an aftermarket extended warranty?
I was considering getting an extended warranty but unfortunately ran out of time to get the manufacturers. But I was told by my service advisor that I could get and aftermarket one (like DFS) and all services and repairs can still be done at the Fletcher Jones dealership. Anyone here bought one or know a lot about it...as far as what it covers and how much it costs?

Does that mean that Penske covers the warranty or is it under a aftermarket company like DFS? And can you only take your vehicle back to Penske or is it good at any MBZ dealer?

2000 CLK430 & 2000 Expedition on 22's
I just bought a 2000 CLK 430 and the dealership threw in an a 2 year bumper to bumper extended warranty for free. I believe it was around $1,250 retail. The car is also starmarked, so it has 3 years, up to 100,000 miles (45,000 left). But for $1250, I think 2 years of warrantee is well worth it.
