Southern California Meet
We need a SoCal meet. Who’s in, and are there any preferences for where and when? Preferably something that includes at least the option of some curvaceous driving (this is SoCal, we have too many great roads to let them go to waste). Afterwards we can post pictures and show the rest of BenzWorld why we Californiacs put up with Der State's nonsense. The Rock Store/Muholland (north/west, near Malibu) should be CHP free this time of the year (motorcycle squid season is over). The Rock Store allows those who want to park and socialize that option, while allowing those who want canyon runs to do their thing. Angeles Crest is probably out because we can’t tell when it’ll be closed (snow). Little Tujunga Canyon? Anyone who claims it’s too far should provide an alternate location. I'm in for anything south of Buena Ventura Beach, and north of San Diego.
For those unfamiliar with the Rock Store, it's about 5 minutes from the store to the lookout. => Rock Store - Muholland Footage
I went on a SoCal run once that resulted in this. Wherever we go, lets keep it safe.![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

we can do my old route if everyone is cool with it! start off at the shopping center off the 101 and valley circle. then head over to stunt rd, followed by the rock store. from there where ever people want to go. PCH, etc.....
there are lots of great photo stops and areas to eat at!

Maybe then take Mulholland to Decker Rd (can take it to PCH or 101).

you take I-70 west to Denver. I'll take I-80 to I-76 and we'll meet in the Mile High and take your car from there cuz it's faster, then take 70 across the mountains to Greenriver and pickup I-15 south to Vegas then south by south-west on into LA on th 10to meet the bros for a bromance drive up the Pacific Coast Highway. We can take turns driving and we should be able to do it straight through. I've done it before with a co-driver in a semi in 20 hours. If ya run 80mph on the big road you average 70 with gas stops. Should be a quick drive in January, no.

How about Saturday the 30th at noon. That gives everyone two weeks notice, and the morning to drive up. Or should we meet earlier in the day?
The diagonal line running from the upper right to the lower left with the yellow line is the 101 Freeway. The exit is Valley Circle (the big street that crosses the freeway). Which shopping center? Do we go west of the freeway (downward on map - left for those headed north, right for those headed south), and then is the shopping center north of Valley Circle (left side of the picture), or south (on the right)?
