I wanted to change my lighting to HID for my 1999 CLK 320. However, I am not sure if I suppose to buy the H7 HID Kit or D2R HID kit? If I have to use D2R, I have to buy an adapter for that right? What is the difference between the two? Also, if I buy a regular HID kit, will I still be able to use my high beam? If not, are there like a HID kit that could use both high/low beam? If so, what kind? Thx.

Wondering if it is just best to buy the MB Ballast P/N 2088200926

 

I'd steer clear of this place. They sell crap quality and miss represent what they are selling. I got a hood scoop from them and it was chipped and cracked. they said it was new and refused to do anything to fix it. got burned.
