Problem with AUDIO.

WHEN I BOUGHT MY 430, THE RADIO SAID "CODE". LUCKILY THE PREVIOUS OWNER WROTE IT DOWN IN THE MANUAL. PUT THAT IN, CAME ON, BUT NO SOUND. I CHECKED AROUND AND FOUND NO CD CHANGER IN THE TRUNK, WITH THIS PIECE MISSING WILL THE RADIO NOT WORK ALSO?

The CD changer was optional. The head unit will work fine without one.

If you have any CA experience, you could take off the door panels and see that the wires are connected to the speakers.

Also, if you'd like a CD changer, I have one I would sell you.

if the amplifier has a fuse (not sure if it does), it might be blown out?

Hey thanks for the info. The first time I checked the fuse, all i saw was one fuse for the radio, the second time i saw another fuse holder for "Radio Control".... no fuse was there, so i put in the extra 25 amp one available, and low and behold it worked. Sounds good too, a little heavy on sound,"not to crisp", but just what i needed. Now about the CD changer, whats it gonna cost me? Falls Profet!
