I recently install the HID 6000K light for my low beam. However, I thought the color of the light going to have a little bit of blue color to it, but I didn't see any blue at all. I only see pure white. Is this normal for 6000K? When I look at other pictures of cars that have 6000K on, it seem to have little bit of blue in it. Also, my parking light look kind of blue than my low beam. Do you think the low beam and parking light goes together? If not, what parking light can I buy that will prevent "Light Defective" on the dashboard and also goes well with my low beam?

different brands interpret their kelvins differently... its like jeans, some brand sizes 32 fits better or worse than other brands... with the same size..

i think your headlights are fine... being too finicky is hard to satisfy..

This is retarded considering Kelvin is a standardized metric unit. Oh well.

I would have gone with 8k to match the city lights, but it doesn't look too far off.

Right now, I am having problem with the "Light Defective" error on my dash board. I'm not sure if it because of this parking light or my HID light. My HID come with a capacitor and I think it might not be working. So the company going to send me a new one. However, if it doesn't fix the problem, does any of you guys know hot to fix it? I read some people said that you can go to MB dealer and let them do "Xenon=present" and it will delete error? Have any one does that before? What about other way to fix this problem? Also, for the 8k, will it still be enough light to see the road?

What josh said. Are you concerned about looking cool or do you actually want to see at night on a dark road without added street lights?
