SS brake lines, front only = soft pedal?

Easy question if i just replace the front lines to SS and not rear. Due that the rear lines will expand will i be defeating the purpose of going SS lines?

If the rear lines are swelling, they're bad. If none of your lines are swelling, you may not notice the difference between SS and OEM.

99CLK320,
did you bleed the fronts after replacing the lines?

Quick answer: No. Be sure you bleed all 4 corners even though you only replaced the front lines.
