Question about spacers?

I'm ordering these wheels http://www.milanomotoring.com/m746FB.htm 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 38 offset front, 43 offset rear. After some research here, most people who put spacers have a 35 all around offset along with 10mm or 15mm spacers. In order for me to get the same effect on the rear, I would have to order 20mm spacers? Please correct me if I'm wrong...

I can help some because I just put 20mm spacer on my rear but I'm running a 19x10 on the rear but don't know my offset because I got them second hand and there I-forged so they weren't stamped on the inside. You need to give more information what are you lowered on and what pads what tire size do you plan on running all this comes into play on how much spacer you can get my tire rubbed alittle on the inside edge of the bumper so I still have to trim it back some but its on the inside so it not seen. I would put your wheels on and suspension if you don't have that done yet then measure to see how much room you have to spare. You will also need to look into a rear camber kit I just got mine from forum member ghostrider try to contact him his kit is top notch and you will definitely need them.

Pat420, this chart is great for what's stock standard for Mercedes alloys.

And for offset calculations:

With your 20mm spacers, I think your back wheels may extend past the guards. anyway, good luck with them and do post some pics when you're done.

Haven't received the wheels yet, they should come next week. I run the usual 265/35 in the back. Vogtland springs/stock shocks 1.4" drop I believe. Just installed "0" pads in the rear. I just contacted ghostrider, thanks!

Don't jump the gun just get the wheels on first and go from there 20mm is almost a inch. I'm pushing the limits but I rolled all my fenders but it takes fine tuning.

I know most of you guys probably have a 35et offset on your wheels. Mine will be 43... I'm thinking if I get the 20mm spacers it would be equivalent of a 35et offset with 12mm spacers

I agree with visionclk430 and pat420, do to in two stages, first get the wheels and see how they look first. You have to allow for variation too on your tires, as some have thicker sidewall designs and I know Bridgestone gives me problems on my reas.
I have 35ET with 9.5J and I could go to 20mm spacers but I have just got 18mm on. I have also rolled my rear fender.

Also consider if your car is lowered and plan to have your rear camber adjusted.
I would get that done first before you size up into spacers.
What fits now won't fit later after your car is adjusted back to spec.

oh and GOOD LUCK finding 10mm Hubcentric Spacers that will fit the fronts of the W208.

Somehow the H&R and all the ebay BENZ 10mm spacers that have a raised hubcentric center, will not fit onto the W208 brake rotor on the front.

Cheers!
