Would it be possible to mount clk55 control arms, rotors, calipers, and bushings on a 98 CLK320?

yes, you could... but why?
If you're upgrading your brakes, then you only need caliper/pads/rotors (front or rear).
The CLK55 rear axle stubs and hubs are taken from the SL500, so they are stronger than the CLK320 version. But this is because of the extra horsepower.
The front control arms are somewhat different, but I am not sure if this will make the difference you are trying to achieve.
