A/C and hard acceleration
All, I've been posting about my sluggishness on a hard gas pedal press. I had some other issues and changed the CPS, TPS, plugs, and MAF. I encounter a sort of hiccup when AC is running and I accelerate hard. Sometimes the car bogs at a light when I press the peddle (with AC). No CEL at all.
If I manually shift 1-D (hard peddle press), with AC its fine.
Idle with AC at light is fine. With AC on and at a light, when I press the peddle, it sometimes bogs, then accelerates itself, not good!
Tonight I tried everything without AC, she ran great! Corners, straight line, idle, dead stop...no bogs, just a bit of traction loss..heehe.
What switch would control the AC during a hard peddle press? Somewhere the brain is trying to cut the AC, tell the tranny to shift, and tell the injectors to give more juice. I"m at a loss.
**the bogging happened without the AC. Taking her in to third party mechanic for a diagnosis.
