Suggestions on spare parts
Need to place order with autohauzAZ for an oil filter.
It's $15 + shipping, but being on the east coast (Boston), UPS ground is not cheap.
Other than oil/filter, coolant/antifreeze, air filter changes, a bad MAF and ball joint, soon to turn 70,000 miles and 10 years I've enjoyed trouble free ownership (OK my temperature/time LCDs are flakey). Additionally, just recently, replaced the factory front brakes pads and brake fluid (the rotors were w/i spec and rear pads only half worn).
They offer free shipping on orders over $50 and while I don't need anything else at the moment, I'm thinking of ordering some addition items as spares or PM.
I'm aware of the CPS and brake light switch issues...however, I'm somewhat a believer in 'if it ain't broken' don't fix it.
I was thinking a spare serpentine belt in case of breakage at an inconvenient time (I do check it from time to time but not sure what the service life is) or a steering damper (performance related).
Additional comments and/or suggestions are most welcome.
